  • Promotes Healthy Roots: Soil blocks encourage stronger root systems through ‘air pruning’ as roots reach the edge of the block, minimizing the risk of seedlings becoming root-bound.
  • Reduces Transplant Shock: Planting seedlings in soil blocks directly into your garden or larger pots significantly reduces root disturbance, leading to less transplant shock and faster establishment.
  • Durable Construction: Made from sturdy ABS plastic for longevity and repeated use season after season.

How to Use:

  1. Prepare a suitable moist (not soaking wet) seed starting soil mix.
  2. Firmly press the soil blocker into the soil mix, ensuring the chambers are completely filled.
  3. Scrape off any excess soil from the bottom of the blocker to create a flat base.
  4. Position the blocker over your seed tray and push down on the handle to eject the four soil blocks.
  5. Place your seeds into the indentations on top of each block.
